My customer found them & wanted them refinished to coordinate with her bedroom dresser (note the warm Wood tones).

These nightstands originally served as a stacked dresser set, so one did not have any legs and they both had Formica/laminate tops. Since my customer wanted wood stained tops, I got to teach myself how to use an angle drill attachment (so fun!) and removed the laminate, then cut & replaced with new wood tops, stained in “provincial pine” and sealed with two coats of warm satin polyurethane.

I ordered 8 new solid wood 8” legs to match the height of the nightstands, and then after I installed those I replicated the base skirt out of 1 x 3 boards.

I prepped & painted both in true black with my sprayer, then sealed with a matte clear topcoat and a clear buffed wax. I installed new brushed gold modern line drawer pulls, and black vinyl contact paper inside the drawers.

What a beautiful new set to finish up my customers new bedroom furniture collection!
