I LOVE antique furniture. It’s so pretty. So unique. So well-built. So beautiful!

This Lane cedar chest for my customer to use as a sitting area bench was in perfectly good shape. Just needed the outside freshened up!

To coordinate this with a different chair I refinished for my customer to use in the same space, I pulled inspiration from the fabric of the seat.

I scuff sanded the outside then used my sprayer to apply three coats of enamel paint, clear coat & clear wax. The feet were sanded to a raw finish then sealed in clear wax as well.

I love the beautiful tones this is bringing out & am excited that it now gets to be out of the storage unit and came from & front & center in someone’s home!
